Insurance in Spain can offer actual classic car insurance policies, the policy will state the agreed value you classic car is insured for, so in the event of a total loss you do not get an offer of next to nothing (book value) for you pride and joy, you would get the actual classic car value.

To be able to obtain this cover you must become a member of a Spanish classic car club, the club must verify that your car is classic and advise us of the vlaue, in a written valution on club letter heads.

The policies inlcude legal defense, glass cover, European breakdown cover and unlimited medical cover for driver and occupants.

The policy has a limit on the annual mileage, 5.000 kmtrs per year. The vehicle must be garaged when not in use also.
